An Overview

Our aim is to recycle and valorize your waste by developing processes adapted to your materials and metals of interest in order to obtain pure metals that can be re-injected into your process in the spirit of the circular economy or resold on the market.

WEEEMET is a French startup created in 2023 that develops hydrometallurgical recycling processes with low environmental impact for the recovery and valorization of metals contained in waste. Its aim is to recover a wide variety of metals (including critical metals such as copper and precious metals) from WEEE and other materials from energy and digital transitions (solar panels, LEDs, ...).

This project is the result of a research collaboration with the Université de Lorraine, and combines a delamination process with physical separations and hydrometallurgical processes.
